Honoring Anguiano is an ongoing activity of giving significance to his work. The legacy of a man who worked for art with untiring passion endures in the representations of his people’s traditions and culture.
With his passing, getting close to people from his past becomes more special and elevated in meaning. Some, we have known for many years, others were unknown until 2006.
Since then, we have participated with federal and state government institutions, associations, and foundations that have warmly honored, celebrated, and specifically helped make Anguino’s art more known. This space is dedicated to them.
Year after year, we have commemorated the anniversary of his birth and death. We have carried out exhibitions with unpublished or less known works such as those portraying bullfighting and his erotic drawings. We have offered support by donating to nonprofit associations and socially beneficial institutions. Additionally, we have made various publications and most importantly, continue to share and donate to Mexico his most meaningful pieces.
We support social institutions by donating pices to be exhibited or to make a profit for them. Such donations have been made to the Banquells Foundation, MURO Foundation, Mexican Red Cross, and UNICEF and DIF in several states.
